First things first, I am not an erotic book reader. I like romance and beautiful love stories, but until TouchStone I have never ventured over to the side of erotic. With that being said, I completely fell in love with this story from beginning to end. Next to my own book, I have never read something so deep and visual with character development above and beyond a normal story. Elizabeth is the quiet one who grabs hold of her inner voice and blossoms into this woman who knows herself and the one she loves through and through. She's my favorite kind of heroine - the kind you want to be and can learn from. Ayden is the enigma, who you aren't sure of at first, then maybe are apprehensive about, but you trust Elizabeth's observations of him and soon begin to learn all there is behind him that makes him who he is. You want to know him, cradle him...and do many other things to him by the end of the book, but overall you are wowed by his presence just like Elizabeth is. The antagonist, Dan, is everything a villain should be... scary, creepy, and disturbed. You don't want to read about him but want to know what he's doing and wonder how on earth can you as a reader save the others from him dysfunctional plight.

Overall, I was bowled over by Sydney Jamesson book. I loved it so much, I got to the last page, flipped back and read it again in the same day. Don't read the other, more hyped books of this genre... Read Sydney's... it's incredible!
This was my first introduction to Elizabeth and Ayden and this couple is one of my newest guilty pleasures. I saw allot of buzz about the upcoming book in the series so when I checked it out, I saw that I had allot of catching up to do. While I was off for the Thanksgiving holidays, I dove into this book with gusto and didn’t come up for air until I was left anxiously anticipating the new release.

I have seen some comments stating that the banter between the characters was a little confusing at times. While I marginally agree, I got so wrapped up in these characters and their story that I didn’t give it a second thought. Elizabeth and Ayden are strong solid characters that are trying to move on from tragic events that have shaped them into individuals that they do not want to be.

Plagued by guilt, sadness and hope, these two lost souls find each other and finally realize that they are each other’s missing pieces. The introductory book to their story is emotional, explosive and will leave you holding your breath in anticipation of where the story is going next.
I had recently started a blog when I noticed the buzz about these novels in the blogger community. And the buzz was spot on!!!

From the outset, this novel seemed to me to be like a lot of other erotic romance novels out there ie. Billionaire alpha male meets a young woman whom he promptly seduces. I was so wrong! This novel has so much more! The suspense and dramatic moments had me on the edge of my seat while the passion and intensity between Ayden and Beth almost melted my !

I loved the character of Beth. At first she seemed to come across as shy and perhaps a bit weak but I was told when reading to “Trust Beth”. And I am so glad I did. She was such a strong female character whose past has made her the woman she is today. She was the perfect match for Ayden.

Ayden, gorgeous, wealthy, troubled Ayden! He is an amazing character. So strong yet weak as he carries the burdens of his past. In some scenes he comes across as a frightened little boy BUT he is anything but! Super sexy and supportive of Beth, you feel how he is drawn to her in an almost fairy tale way.

I give this debut novel from Sydney Jamesson FIVE stars and HIGHLY recommend to anyone who loves a beautiful fairy tale but with a whole lot of heat!
